Welcome to Keith’s side of things….

Hi, I’m the one that goes by AK-47 around here. I must start by thanking KK60 for inspiring the idea for this site. 
 

After much thinking (okay, I thought about it for maybe two seconds), trial and error (we, KK60 and I, officially hate Microbrain Word) we finally have something to show for our troubles. I tell you, two cartons of cigarettes and eight 24’s of Keith’s (For those not well versed in Canadian beer, Alexander Keith’s India Pale Ale is damn good stuff! Good name too), several arguments, and outright fistfights, emotional distress, break-ups and make-ups later, and KK60 finally had a page up. Yea! (Actually it wasn’t that bad, I’m into melodramatics)

I shall begin by explaining why I adore Commander/Captain Keith so very much.
When I was three apples high, I watched Star Blazers with my older brother, and him being the older, hogged the TV. This was my very first exposure to Anime. I took a liking to Derek Wildstar.
Then there was G-Force, or Battle of the Planets, or whatever it’s being called now. I took a liking to Mark. (Do you see a pattern developing??)
Then Voltron came out. There I was, seven years old (I think), seeing Keith, Keith, Keith all the time. (As most fans will notice, he got the most airtime)
So being the impressionable little kid I was, I took an extreme liking to him. Plus the fact that his colours are Red and White (I’m Canadian, eh!) and he was cute didn’t stop from helping.
I must admit, as I have gotten older and wiser in my years, it has not failed my notice that Keith is pretty dull and repetitive in the show. Thus I must now take this opportunity to thank every single fan-fic author (including all the parodies I’ve read) for giving Keith a heck of a lot more depth than he ever displayed in the show.
I think I adore Keith now because his lack of character from the show allows me to expand into his character as I see fit. I get to fill in all the blanks! (Explaining his background a little, his feelings for each member of the Voltron Force, his feelings for Allura, and his overuse of the word ‘Team’ in every episode.) I still think that Keith is the best, however, I’m beginning to take a liking towards Lance. (Ssshhh! Don’t tell anyone! L.I.K.E. has converted yet another hapless fan!)

I’m in the process of going through as many fan-fics as possible (and you guys are pretty good at it!) and I’m also in the process of writing my own.

I must also take this moment to apologize for my slowness at getting stories posted. I can’t put out a novel a week like my bud KK60. So please be patient.
