This is a list dedicated to WEP’s two creations (LV & VV). We are non-profit as well as R rated, so in order to join, you must first be 19 years or older and be willing to "sign" a pre-membership agreement.

Rules:

1. All members must participate. Supply us with a character you wish to play, race, location, et cetera. This does not need to be detailed, since, as a newcomer, you will not know the current plot, however, this will give the moderators an idea of what you want to play. For more information, please explore the site at your leisure. All planets listed are active in this game.

2. If a member does not post or participates without giving the moderator(s) a reason (id est: real life demands, et cetera), the member will be discharged from the list. S/he may reapply at a later date if s/he so wishes, however, prolonged inexcusable absences will not be tolerated. Any characters left behind will be immediately terminated so as to not obstruct with the story flow. If the member chooses to rejoin at a later date, a new character will be created. In the event of a needed prolonged absence, please inform the LT, draw a rough conclusion for your character in the interim of your absence and then resume upon your return. This is about having fun primarily, but 'sudden disappearances' in the part of players does hinder the overall flow of the game.

3. No killing off other characters without clearing it with the member first. Any abuse or bashing on any members or authors and you will receive one warning from the LT. Let's play nice. If you do not feel the LT has been fair about a rule or decision, feel free to discuss it. All topics are open to debate.

Guidelines:

Age: Legacy of the Drules has evolved into an outlet for the original fans. Therefore we ask that only folks 19 years of age and older join LotD.

Subject Matter: The stories are geared towards adults. The topics we will be touching on will be unpleasant and not for the under-aged. As it is, at times we are expecting to have to face the darker areas of humanity's interactions that sane, mature people try to avoid. Also, given the nature of the subject matter, we touch upon issues which is almost 'too close to home', such as war, strife, et cetera.
This warning is due to the fact that we do not want any confusion. This is a story of a brutal and inhuman war. We are writing the stories that we can respect and appreciate. In the end, the subjects covered are not for children. Instead, they are for the adults who grew up on the show, and for people who want to take the show to a new limit.

Voltron History: No events can be said to have taken place historically that did not take place in the show. There are exceptions to this, but they will have to either be accepted by the LT (Leadership Team) or follow the history created by VTNA, the source of our history (see link below for a condensed history). Other Voltron sources, id est: V3D and the comic, may be used as wells of ideas, though not copied. We are an original list, and trying to use our own personal elements.

Family Ties: No one may claim to be a descendant of anyone from the show, unless it is a very well worked plot that necessitates or merits it. Again, it will be something decided by the LT, upon the persona submission.

Other Voltron: No new 'Voltrons' can be created at this point. This may change at a future date, but not currently... As for LV or VV, they are currently out of the game until further notice.

Originality: All plots, friendly or otherwise, must be of our creation. Plot development can be agreed upon among players, but must follow preset rules and environment established by the history of the game. Variables can be accepted, as long as it is not plagiarism and is in accordance with the moderators and/or other players. There is no 'GM' in this list, meaning, no one will take upon him/herself to lead a plot indefinitely. There are, instead, arcs which are created by the players involving all others. Generally, this begins by the one with the idea contacting the rest of the list and all, directly involved in the plot, are expected to follow and/or offer ideas and suggestions as the arc progresses. There is no "God Mode". Everyone gets a fair chance to lead an idea until its conclusion or pass it on to another if applicable.

Crossovers: You must be born into the Voltron universe and die there. No other shows will be accepted here.

Use of Magic: Magic in the Voltron Universe is limited, please consult with the LT before developing any plot requiring the use of magic. Again, if it is indispensable to the idea and within reason, it will be considered. Our idea is that magic makes things almost dull and boring to play. Mundane plots are much more fun to carry out and resolve.*

Mind Powers: Psionics are under the same limitation as Magic. I state again that you need to have an impressive and complete back-story for us to even contemplate allowing the persona access to them.*

*Note that there are, currently, characters holding either magic or Psionics, but they have been granted such grace due to their back history and commitment shown by the player. Even so, they're very limited and weak, and generally will resolve most situations by use of physical force or wit. (Secondarily, both characters are currently in the hands of one of the LTs).
