Located in the galaxy of Selphem, approximately two hundred light years from Torres, Akhrondion had once been inhabited by a very delicate type of bipedal xenokinds. They had been very harmonious with the abundant flora and fauna and were discovered by chance by the Galvesh while the latter sought a new home world. Under the orders of Commander Hazar Morphay, it was not colonised by the Drule, but instead, Duke Hew’thir Trey’lar laid claims on the planet, annexing it to the First Fief and thus placing it under his protection. Upon his death, the First Fief was ruled by Duchess Armer’shia Trey’lar. Armer’shia continued living on Planet Drule and carrying on the intricate game of intrigues called Condar while her son and heir to his father’s title and holds, Nay’Ven, began to train to become the eventual Duke, overseeing the many holds the Trey’lar family held.

Nay’Ven’s first journey to Akhrondion left the youth quite aghast and breathless at the beauty, strength and splendour of the planet. He had taken with him faithful retinues and landed his craft in a remote place on the planet. They soon learned that although the xenokinds living there were welcoming to their presence, they soon fell ill, being quite faint and easily contracting foreign bacteria that proved fatal to their wellbeing.

Ordering the ships to depart immediately, Nay’Ven realised that unless it was protected, Akhrondion would fall prey to any other colonisation. He returned home to inform his mother of his plans to temporarily move to Selphem and set a military base around Akhrondion, only to discover that his entire family and hold had been destroyed; Trey’lar Hall was no more. The First Fief had fallen under the Second.

Deciding to take revenge and reclaim his apparent lost title in the game of Condar, Nay’Ven neglected Akhrondion and it was not until months later, when he became Lord of Three, that he turned his attention back to the planet, only to learn that the humans had landed upon it and were, inadvertently, destroying the xenokinds.

Enraged by their lack of tactic, Nay’Ven Trey’lar ordered the immediate war upon the humans, against Commander Hazar’s orders, and rid himself of the earthlings. His actions, however, arrived too late and he was unable to save the surviving few of the xenokinds.

Grieved, he declared the planet his own and adopted the name, replacing his own family name. Back on Planet Drule, he placed Marquis Woxinton and Earl Lof’faliel Bhrackmrr as the Second and Third Fiefs and returned to Akhrondion where he began to develop a base and means to always be able to have power at his fingertips should any crisis occur.

Aware that any activities would be easily recorded by the Drule or humans, Nay’Ven chose to go underground. His loyalists aided him in this quest and Akhrondion, despite its remoteness and being uninhabited, developed strong armaments and Nay’Ven slowly began to construct what he could later claim as an empire.
